Vinje Camping Cabins

Vinje Camping is secluded and peaceful, idyllically located in nature between waterfalls and mountains - but still only 1.5 km from the Geirangerfjord and the center of Geiranger.

The campsite is a great starting point for hiking - both for shorter walks or for demanding summit hikes, as well as for other attractions and activities in Geiranger. Explore Geiranger Nature Park with nature trail, zipline and rappelling down the famous Flydalsjuvet is only 200 meters from the campsite.

We offer:

    Seven beautiful cabins with one or two bedrooms and a loft, living room / kitchen, bathroom with shower and veranda with magnificent views of the Geirangerfjord.
    Four "pods" that are smaller, somewhat simpler cabins without running water, but with a charming design that is reminiscent of cozy hobbit houses.
    Adapted pitches for motorhomes and caravans with access to electricity, in addition to nice pitches for tents. Maybe you would like to sleep until the waterfall 10 meters from Kleivafossen?
    Sanitary facilities (completely renovated for the 2016 season) with toilets, separate shower rooms, two kitchens, laundry room with washing machine and dryer, disabled toilet and family bathroom.
    Great, prepared campfire site under a slab for use by all our guests. Great gathering place for families or small groups.
    Playground with bouncy castle.
    Reception and kiosk with a selection of basic goods, groceries, ice cream and soft drinks.
    Baked goods from Geiranger Bakery every morning during the high season (mid-June to mid-August).

Opening hours

    Cabins open all year round
    The campsite is open from about 1 May to mid-October (weather dependent).
    The reception is open from 08:00 until 21:30 in high season. Varying opening hours out of season, but we are available by phone when it is closed.
